The end...

I cannot believe that my travels in Europe are over... for now!  I have visited so many incredible places, and met so many interesting people.  During my 3 months in Germany, I had the opportunity to visit more than 15 cities in 8 different countries.  As many others have said about experiences in Europe, this has been one of my most memorable summers yet, and I am already planning for my return!

Biggesee

The Sauerland is starting to warm up, and I have been able to enjoy the summer weather at Bigge Beach!  Attendorn is home to a beautiful lake, which invites everyone to lay out and watch the sailboats drift on the calm waters.

Schützenfest!

The "Marksmen Festival" is a tradition dating back many centuries, and is still celebrated today.  I had the pleasure of experiencing the festival first-hand!

Do you like cars?

Well so do I, and I was fortunate enough to be in Salzburg during a classic car event!  Check out the pictures below to see some vintage muscle.

Burghotel Schnellenburg

Like many regions in Germany, castles remain from the feudal ages.  Here in Attendorn lies a fortress which serves the people now as a hotel, and provides ample photographic opportunities.

German Nights

Only after 21:00 does the sun begin to set in Attendorn, and it rises again before 06:00.  I live in a restful city, and at night the sky is always welcoming.
